Planet Cierra
Adapted from an original play, Plant Cierra is an adventure and exploration game set in the future with a backdrop of stunning canyon-like atmosphere. Player can switch between the three characters in the narrative, following each of their backstory on a journey that dives deep into humanity, a close examination of friendships and the concept of guilt and free will.
In the year 2300, Roxana and her android companion Valentino touch down on an Earth-like planet after a six-year interstellar journey. They find solace in their new home, Planet Cierra, until Zuri, a recent Earth refugee, delivers a soul-shattering revelation of a catastrophic nuclear war that ravaged humanity.
As a survivor plagued by radiation sickness, Zuri's time is limited. In their fleeting moments together, the trio forges profound connections, delving into their shared pasts and cherishing memories of Earth. Roxana gradually gains confidence to carry out her mission of setting up a new colony on Planet Cierra from the lab embryos. However, the delicate unity between Roxana and Zuri fractures when Valentino uncovers Zuri's haunting secret: his previous identity and profession as one of the remote-control bombers responsible for the world war that destroyed their beloved home—Earth.
Despite Zuri's defense, Roxana finds it difficult to accept him as a friend. Valentino, programmed to provide therapeutic support, serves as a mirror of humanity for his companions, guiding them toward forgiveness and resolution. Zuri examines his past through flashbacks, and as his days dwindle, the audience is left to ponder whether the weight of guilt and shame still shadows him until his final moments, shrouded in uncertain redemption.
The play ends with the first funeral ever held on Planet Cierra, which happens to be the day an embryo gains its first heartbeat.
