@Under St. Marks Theater // four performances in AUGUST, 2023

In busy cities where everyone's supposedly out living their best lives, I always wondered--where do the lonely folks, the ones stuck with their messy, noisy thoughts, slip off to? What's their secret hideaway? This play peeks into the mind of someone quietly sliding into the addictive spiral of online communities and algorithm-driven bubbles, and how maybe-
just maybe--a small gesture of kindness can stop someone from tumbling too deep. A dark comedy with echoes of Shakespeare and Dostoevsky, think Hamlet scrolling through insomnia-driven midnight threads or the Underground Man picking fights on social media. Imagine if Shakespeare had an Instagram account, crafting stories about modern loneliness and digital longing. But don't worry, it's not pure tragedy, there's still magic hiding between the pixels. A fairy does appear, sure, but whether she's here to save the day or accidentally cause delightful chaos...well, that's for you to decide.

The cast will feature Xiaoxiao Sun, Ronit Asheri (Netflix: Unorthodox, Transatlantic) and Kristina Del Mar.
